Sara Mann is a painter, printmaker, writer, and teacher living in Hamilton, Ontario. Her work addresses themes of grief, identity, parenting and pregnancy, migration, and the concept of home. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English (2010) and a Master of Arts in Teaching (2012), both from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and is currently working toward a three-year Diploma in Fine Art Practice & Theory from the Dundas Valley School of Art in Dundas, Ontario. Prior to moving to Canada with her family, she spent a decade as a high school English teacher in Acton, Massachusetts.
